Appeal for information on abandoned baby girl (with photo)

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a baby girl who was found abandoned in Yau Ma Tei on July 11.
About 7am on July 12, Police received a report that a baby girl was found abandoned inside Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 30 Gascoigne Road.
The non-ethnic Chinese baby girl is about one-month-old. She is about 50 centimetres tall and four kilograms in weight. She has a round face with black complexion and short black hair.
The baby girl, sustaining no apparent injuries, was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for observation.
Investigations by the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Yau Ma Tei Division are underway.
