Immigration Department follows up incident of Hong Kong residents being attacked in Würzburg of Germany

Since arriving in Germany, officers of the ImmD has been accompanying the family members, including visiting the four injured in the hospitals and meeting with the medical officers to understand their latest situation and ensuring that appropriate medical care is provided to them. Accompanied by officers of the ImmD, some family members had returned to Hong Kong this afternoon (July 30). The four injured will continue to stay in the hospital for medical treatment and officers of the ImmD will stay in Germany to continue rendering assistance to the injured and the family members.
The ImmD will continue to closely liaise with OCMFA, the Embassies, the Consulates-General, the HKETO, the injured and their families to follow up the case. The ImmD advises Hong Kong residents already there to attend to personal safety.
