Tenders invited for Kai Tak Development - Stage 3B Infrastructure at Former North Apron Area

The works mainly involve:
* construction of new roads and an elevated landscaped walkway across Prince Edward Road East, a pedestrian subway across Prince Edward Road East, Kwun Tong Bypass and Shing Kai Road;
* demolition of an existing flyover across Prince Edward Road East; and
* ancillary works including associated footpaths, street lighting, traffic aids, drainage, sewerage, water mains, landscaping works and environmental mitigation measures.
The works are scheduled to commence in November 2016 for completion in mid-2020.
The CEDD has commissioned Ove Arup and Partners Hong Kong Limited to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may obtain the tender forms and other particulars from the company at Level 5, Festival Walk, 80 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong.
An invitation to the tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tender is noon on September 9.
