The spokesperson for Kowloon Bay Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic of the Hospital Authority made the following announcement today (July 26):
At around 10am today, the Kowloon Bay Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic reported a strong gaseous smell with an unknown source, which led to the decision of the Clinic to suspend patient services temporarily. After preliminary checking by the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, no gas leakage was found. For precautionary and safety reasons, the Clinic has decided to continue to suspend its patient services this afternoon and has made arrangements to inform and divert patients who have made prior appointments to attend either Ngau Tau Kok Jockey Club General Out-patient Clinic or Kwun Tong Community Health Centre. The Clinic would like to express its apologies for any inconvenience caused to the patients due to the suspension of service.
