To sustain the betterment of the living environment in private property and to promote excellence in greening through outstanding landscape design and horticultural maintenance, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is holding the Best Landscape Award for Private Property Development 2016 to commend organisations for their good efforts in greening. Free nominations will remain open until next Thursday (April 14).
Each entry must be located within Hong Kong. Any private developer or private body in Hong Kong may nominate entries for the award. The landscaped greening areas of the entry must be for communal use, accessible by the public or residents.
The soft landscape design and horticultural maintenance award is presented in three categories. Details are as follows:
(1) Large Scale Domestic Property (at least four domestic buildings and with more than 1 000 domestic units)
i) Properties below six years of age
ii) Properties at least six years of age and below 11 years of age
iii) Properties at least 11 years of age and below 21 years of age
iv) Properties 21 years of age and over
(2) Domestic Property (below or equal to 1 000 domestic units or below four domestic buildings with more than 1 000 domestic units)
i) Properties below six years of age
ii) Properties at least six years of age and below 11 years of age
iii) Properties at least 11 years of age and below 21 years of age
iv) Properties 21 years of age and over
(3) Non-Domestic Property, such as aided schools, shopping malls and commercial buildings
i) Properties below six years of age
ii) Properties at least six years of age and below 11 years of age
iii) Properties at least 11 years of age and below 21 years of age
iv) Properties 21 years of age and over
Completed nomination forms together with all necessary documents should be sent not later than 5pm on April 14 to the Secretariat of the Best Landscape Award for Private Property Development 2016 (11/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin).
