| A special 10-kilometre VIP walk departed from the Hong Kong checkpoint on August 29 (Brussels time), while the main event was underway. Participating VIPs included Polar Explorer, Founder and President of the International Polar Foundation, Mr Alain Hubert (back row, fourth left); CEO of the Special Olympics European Games 2014, Ms Catalina Daniëls (second right); and the Chairman of the Belgium-Hong Kong Society, Mr Piet Steel (back row, fifth right). Accompanying them are Miss Lai (front row, second right) and Assistant Representative of the HKETO, Brussels, Miss Lily Lee (front row, third right), and Oxfam Solidarity representatives. |
