The 3rd Moving Images Competition for Secondary Students in Hong Kong was a video competition to encourage creativity and increase awareness of environmental issues. The theme of "waste reduction" aimed to inspire young people to generate and promote ideas on waste reduction through the process of producing their entries, in order to tackle the serious waste problem in Hong Kong. Visit tours to the EcoPark and a cycling eco-tour in Tuen Mun were held after the award presentation ceremony to broaden the horizons of the students on waste reduction and other environmental issues.
