Fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui last night (October 12) in which a 26-year-old expatriate woman was killed.

     At about 9.35pm, Police received a report that the woman was found sitting at the edge of Waterfront Podium Garden. Then, she reportedly fell from height and hit by a bus driven by a 54-year-old man and travelling along eastbound Salisbury Road.

     The woman was trapped under the bus and resuced by firemen. Sustaining serious head injuries, she was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 10.14pm.

     Investigations by Accident Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
