Students reignite passion for traditional art
*********************************************

A group of creative media students has partnered with the Hong Kong Museum of Art to create animations based on Feng Zikai's popular cartoon drawings, part of a plan to help make traditional Chinese artwork more accessible - particularly to young people.

The collaboration between the museum and the students provided an innovative learning process for these young people who previously knew little about traditional Chinese art.

The students' videos are now part of the Feng Zikai exhibit - attracting more visitors to learn about and appreciate his work.

The story appears today (September 2) on news.gov.hk in both text and video format.
