Following is a transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, at a media session after attending a radio programme this morning (July 9):
Reporter: (On the possibility of offering public venues for viewing the Olypmics)
Secretary for Home Affairs: We have studied the possibility of using government venues including some government stadiums and community halls but their capacities are very limited. We are talking about thousands, whereas free TVs have millions of audience. So we really want the TV stations to exercise their CSR - corporate social responsibility - to make Olympics events available to the Hong Kong public.
(Please also refer to the Chinese portion of the transcript.)
