Man holding charged with attempted murder

     Police today (May 10) laid a holding charge against an 18-year-old man with one count of attempted murder.

     Police arrested the man in suspected connection with an attempted murder case in Sheung Shui on May 8 in which a 52-year-old man was attacked outside 24 Lung Sum Avenue and sustained multiple chop wounds.

     The 18-year-old man will appear in Fanling Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (May 11).
