| With Christmas and New Year around the corner, the Government is stepping up its anti-drug publicity efforts. The Narcotics Division, Hong Kong Police Force, Action Committee Against Narcotics (ACAN), various Government departments and district organisations held an anti-drug event this evening (December 17) at Lo Wu Boundary Control Point. Officiating at the event included the Under Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok (centre); ACAN Chairman, Professor Daniel Shek Tan-lei (third right); and Border District Deputy Commander of the Police, Mr Chiu Ming-wah (third left). |
