The Director of Housing, Mr D W Pescod, launched a "Director's blog" on the Housing Department (HD) website today (December 7) featuring "sun and fun" at the HD's Annual Staff Club Fun Fair.
Mr Pescod said, "I am happy to have the opportunity to set out some of my thoughts and random ideas in this blog." He said that he would try to make regular postings but would not stick to one theme or necessarily focus on sensitive or even topical issues.
HD Staff and members of the public are welcome to respond to the Director's blog. "Although Mr Pescod will not be able to respond to each and every email received, he will be fully briefed on the views expressed and this office will follow up on the issues raised," a spokesman for the Director's office said.
