SHA praises HK athletes on winning seven medals in the Asian Games

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, praised Hong Kong athletes for gaining seven more medals ¡ª two gold, three silver and two bronze - in the Guangzhou Asian Games today (November 20).

     Commending their remarkable performances, Mr Tsang said, "With their unswerving efforts and unflinching determination, Hong Kong athletes have once again achieved excellent results in the Asian Games, and made a new record of capturing seven gold medals in the Asian Games.  We are deeply impressed by their exemplary participation and sportsmanship."

     The Hong Kong delegation has so far won 27 medals in the Games.  The list of Hong Kong athletes who won medals today is as follows.
