| Before attending APEC CEO summit 2010 Yokohama, the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, visits the Asahi Incineration Plant in Yokohama this morning (November 12) to learn more about the waste treatment facilities in Japan. The plant underwent large-scale renovation for five years from 1994 to 1999 after 22 years of operation. Incineration and building equipments were renewed and environmental protection measures were enhanced. The mayor of Yokohama, Ms Fumiko Hayashi, greets Mr Tsang at the entrance of the plant. |
