Hongkong Post today (May 14) held the 11th Inter-School Stamp Exhibits Competition prize presentation ceremony at Sky Dome Atrium, Discovery Park, Tsuen Wan. The ceremony was officiated by Principal Education Officer of the Education Bureau, Mr Tam Koon-che, and Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development), Mr Michael Chung.
The competition was organised by Hongkong Post, with the Education Bureau as the co-organiser. This inspirational and educational local competition aims to nurture interest in philately among youngsters and students. With support from parents, teachers and principals, 129 frames of stamp exhibits were received from the 231 students participating in this year's event. Awards were presented to the winners at the ceremony. The list of winners is attached at Appendix.
All the students' exhibits as well as demonstration exhibits from local philatelic associations will be displayed at the venue from May 14 to 16. The exhibition is open to the public and admission is free.
