The Town Planning Board today (October 9) announced amendments to the approved Cha Kwo Ling, Yau Tong, Lei Yue Mun Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve rezoning of an area at the southern coast of Lei Yue Mun Village from "Village Type Development" to "Open Space" and to include its adjacent two pieces of land and reclaimed land into the planning scheme area and zone them as "Open Space" and "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Breakwater" to facilitate the implementation of the Lei Yue Mun Waterfront Enhancement Project.
The draft Cha Kwo Ling, Yau Tong, Lei Yue Mun OZP No. S/K15/18 incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the planning enquiry counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kwun Tong District Office.
Any person can make written representations in respect of the amendments to the secretary of the board on or before December 9. Representations made to the board will be made available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
