Public are welcome to join Drug InfoCentre Fun Day 2009

     To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Drug InfoCentre (DIC), the Narcotics Division, Security Bureau, will hold a Fun Day on Sunday (July 12) at the DIC.  Members of the public are welcome to join the exciting activities available on the day.

     A number of activities are suitable for all family members.  They include anti-drug talks, demonstrations by drug detector dogs, and a creative T-shirt design competition.

     The Chairman of the Action Committee Against Narcotics Sub-committee on Preventive Education and Publicity, Ms Scarlett Pong, and the winner of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons 2008 and committee member of the Anti-drug Volunteer Group, Mr Kuen Ping-yiu, will host an anti-drug talk and share their experiences in communicating with their children.  Rehabilitated drug abusers will also share their experience in fighting against drugs and elaborate on the harm they do.

     There will also be dance performances by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, drama performances by Theatre 6 and magic shows, etc.  The Narcotics Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force will set up an anti-drug information booth.  Come and join our Fun Day and don't miss these interesting activities.
