Services provided by Mobile Libraries 2, 6 and 8 would be suspended at different periods in May for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (May 8).
Service points covered by Mobile Library 8 to be affected from May 12-18 are: Laguna City in Lam Tin; Po Tat Estate in Sau Mau Ping; Tai Hang Tung Estate in Tai Hang Tung Road; Laguna Verde in Hung Hom and Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po. Service points of Mobile Library 2 to be affected from May 19-24 cover Sun Chui Estate, Mei Lam Estate and Saddle Ridge Garden in Sha Tin; Kwong Fuk Estate in Tai Po and Hau Tak Estate and Po Lam Estate in Sai Kung. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 2, please call 2605 1071.
Service points served by Mobile Library 6 to be affected from May 19-31 are Shau Kei Wan Main Street East; Ap Lei Chau Estate and Lei Tung Estate in Ap Lei Chau; Shek O Beach; Fung Tak Estate and Tsui Chuk Garden in Wong Tai Sin. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 6, please call 2505 4690.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during these service suspension periods of the mobile libraries. They may also renew library materials by telephone at 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
