Chief Executive to attend Expo Central China 2008

    The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will lead a business delegation to attend the Expo Central China 2008 in Wuhan, Hubei, on Friday (April 25).

    Mr Tsang will attend a reception hosted by the expo on his arrival in Wuhan. On Saturday (April 26), he will attend the opening ceremony of the expo and deliver a speech at the Central China Business Summit 2008.

    During his stay in Wuhan, the Chief Executive will hold bilateral meetings with other provincial leaders attending the expo. Mr Tsang and the delegation will also see the industrial and logistics development in Wuhan.

    Accompanying Mr Tsang on the visit will be the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Frederick Ma, the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Norman Chan; the Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Miss Yvonne Choi, the Private Secretary to Chief Executive, Mr Kenneth Mak; and the Information Co-ordinator, Mr Andy Ho.

    Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Sunday (April 27). During the Chief Executive's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the acting Chief Executive.
