Yau Ma Tei No.3 Alarm Fire Roundup

    A unit on 15/F and a unit on 16/F of a building on Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei were damaged in a No. 3 alarm fire this morning (March 3).

    The fire broke out at Yun Kai Building at 466-472 Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei at 4.31am and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 4.38am.  It was put out at 5.18am.  Firemen used three jets and four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

    No casualty was reported.  60 people were evacuated and led to a place of safety.

    No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
