Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks launched(With photo)
*****************************************************

Sports lovers can now make use of a new, one-stop service, Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks, installed at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's 47 venues, for booking LCSD leisure facilities or enrolling in programmes organised by the department.

The self-service kiosks are simple and easy to use. First, a user checks the time slots of the leisure facilities available as shown on a touch screen. Second, the user inserts his Smart Identity Card or enters his ID card number. Third, he selects and confirms the bookings. Fourth, he pays the rental fees by using an Octopus card and collects the acknowledgement slip. The booking procedure is completed. It is just that easy!

Through the kiosks, users can also enquire about and enrol in leisure programmes organised by the LCSD. Users who have been notified of successful enrolment in leisure programmes organised by the department can use the kiosks to settle payment and collect acknowledgement slips.

Other services provided by the self-service kiosks include booking residential, day and evening camps of the four camps managed by the LCSD (Lady MacLehose Holiday Village, Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village, Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre and Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre); settling payment for leisure facilities or programmes reserved via the LCSD telephone booking service; applying for reallocation of leisure facility sessions (applicable to bookings cancelled by the management due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances) and making supplementary payments on the spot for the use of facilities.

The public can check and verify their booking records and reprint acknowledgement slips at any time through the kiosks.

The 47 self-service kiosks are located territory-wide. Please browse the LCSD website at www.lcsd.gov.hk/ssk for details of locations and contact telephone numbers. The kiosks operate from 7am to 11pm daily. During the period of launching the self-service kiosks, ambassadors will be stationed at venues to provide assistance to users.
