The following is issued on behalf of the Construction Industry Council:
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) will meet tomorrow (February 28) at 2.30pm in Room 1201, 12/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The agenda items include:
(1) Composition of CIC committees;
(2) Buildings (Amendment) Bill 2007 for the proposed minor works control system;
(3) First progress report of Construction Industry Training Board;
(4) Recruitment of executive director; and
(5) Recruitment of senior managers and managers for CIC secretariat.
The public is welcome to observe the proceedings of the meeting. Due to physical constraints of the venue, seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The discussion on the last two items will not be open to the public in view of privacy and commercial sensitivity.
