Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (December 16) in which two men died and a woman was injured.
A car being driven by a 20-year-old man with two passengers was travelling along Tsing Tsuen Road towards Shek Kong about 3.50am today. When the car reached Texaco Road, it reportedly lost control and hit a lamp post after dashing on a central divider.
A 23-year-old male passenger was thrown out of the car, while the driver and one other 18-year-old female passenger were trapped inside the compartment, they were later rescued by firemen.
The driver and the male passenger were certified dead by the ambulancemen at the scene. The female passenger, sustaining head injury, was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are under way.
