US a cappella ensemble makes Asian debut in HK
**********************************************

The American a cappella group "Chapter 6" will bring their exquisite vocals and humorous performances to Hong Kong next month in their Asian debut.

This all-male sextet will sing songs that blend elements of jazz, pop, gospel and rock in a youthful, collegiate style.

The group has captured audiences with their versatility and irrepressible charm, often attracting spontaneous bursts of laughter and applause throughout their show.

"The Baltimore Sun" highly praised the group as "an impossibly wholesome and very polished vocal sextet". "Primarily A Cappella" commented, "These guys are consummate entertainers... brilliant sense of humour, great stage presence, top-drawer vocal abilities, and winning arrangements... thrilling and funny!"

Chapter 6 is a professional a cappella ensemble from Illinois, based in Chicago. The talented Christian group comprises six vocalists - Luke Menard, Nathan Pufall, A.D. Stonecipher, Jarrett Johnson, Chuck Bosworth and John Musick, and one arranger, Mark Grizzard.

The group is the only vocal ensemble to win both the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella in 2001 and the National Harmony Sweepstakes in 2004. They were named "Entertainer of the Year" at the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities National Convention in 2005 and received four A Cappella Community Awards including Favourite Jazz Group and Favourite Arranger.

Chapter 6 has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes. Their latest CD release, "Swing Shift", received three nominations for the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards while "The Wizard of Oz" won the award for Best Humour Song.
