More than 10,000 youngsters from the Mainland, Macau, Taiwan and Hong Kong gathered today (June 29) at the Hong Kong Coliseum to perform a percussion piece to set a new world record. Renowned percussionist Dr Lung Heung-wing, who arranged the record-breaking percussion piece, led the young drummers playing tambourine, rattle drum with two cords threaded with wood pellets, single-head Chinese drum, rattle drum and tamborim. The record attempt is part of the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR.
