************************************************************

UK business management consultancy, Molten, today (March 1) announced the opening of its Asian regional base in Hong Kong.

The new office, the company¡¯s first in Asia, will play a key role in Molten¡¯s expansion plans, explained Managing Director, Mr Rory Colfer.  ¡°Establishing our Asian headquarters in Hong Kong secures another piece of our global network.  Importantly it puts us in the same location and time zone as many of our current clients.  With our blend of locally recruited consultants along with those from our established international talent pool, we¡¯re confident of offering new and existing clients the highest levels of service,¡± said Mr Colfer.

Molten¡¯s Hong Kong operation is headed up by Mr Stephen Bingle, General Director for Asia.  ¡°Hong Kong is ideally located as Molten¡¯s Asian platform and several of our existing clients have already chosen Hong Kong as their Asian headquarters¡± said Mr Bingle.

According to Mr Bingle, after establishing its Asian base in Hong Kong, Molten looks to expand its regional presence to Singapore and Mainland China within the next two years.

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong, Mr Simon Galpin, warmly welcomed Molten.  ¡°The growth potential for the management consultancy sector in this region is massive.  From Japan and South Korea to the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, we¡¯re seeing companies moving up the value chain and seeking the services of management consulting firms to take them to the next level.  Hong Kong has built an enviable reputation as a city where you get things done, and I have no doubt that Molten has found the ideal location for its ambitious expansion plans,¡± said Mr Galpin.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in London, Molten specialises in programme management and change management and focuses on the financial services, energy and telecommunications sectors. Its clients include Vodafone, BP, the UK Cabinet Office, American Express, Barclays Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and TNK-BP.  The company has offices in Moscow, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.  More information on Molten can be found at www.molten-group.com.

Invest Hong Kong is the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government department charged with encouraging and facilitating inward investment into the city by providing the support needed to establish or expand a business presence here.
