The Director of Home Affairs, Mrs Pamela Tan, puts a wishing card onto one of the Chinese-style wooden racks next to the Wishing Trees at Lam Tsuen in Tai Po. Mrs Tan today (February 17) called on visitors to the Wishing Trees to place paper placards onto the racks which were installed by the Tai Po District Office as part of the conservation measures for the trees.
