Authority representatives briefed Mr Suen on this major commercial/hotel redevelopment project. With a site area of about 8,300 square metres, the area will have commercial facilities, serviced apartments and a hotel as well as open space which will give the area a facelift when completed.

Mr Suen's next stop was the Elderly Centre of Tsim Sha Tsui Kaifong Welfare Association in Shanghai Street. Established in 1996, the centre is the first elderly activities centre set up by the Tsim Sha Tsui Kaifong Welfare Association and is subvented by the Social Welfare Department.
