"Year of the Pig" Special Stamps issuing ceremony (with photos)

Hongkong Post today (February 4) issued the ¡°Year of the Pig¡± Special Stamps. At a ceremony at New Town Plaza Phase 3 this morning, Postmaster General Mr Tam Wing-pong launched the issue of these special Lunar New Year stamps. In addition, Mcmug has been appointed as the Philatelic Ambassador of Hongkong Post for 2007. As a memento of the occasion, Mr Tam presented framed stamps and first day covers to Mcmug and designer of these special stamps Mr Bon Kwan.
As a prelude to the celebration of the Lunar New Year, the ¡°Lucky Bags¡± distributed by young dancers to the audience added festive fun.
