The Financial Secretary, Mr Henry Tang, today (February 1) meets Acting Secretary of CPC Shanghai Committee, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Mr Han Zheng (right) in Shanghai today. At the meeting, Mr Han congratulated the opening of the permanent office of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai, saying that this marked the closer economic cooperation between the two places. He said apart from trade of goods, the two places can further cooperate in areas of investment and exchange of talents. Mr Tang said there was ample room for cooperation in financial services, and both sides would continue to seek ways to develop the ties in this aspect.   Close
