2007 Village Representative Elections: Overall turnout rate

The seventh polling day of 2007 Village Representative Elections ended at 7 pm today (January 27).
A total of 44 candidates from 14 villages contested for 24 seats, including 16 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 8 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.
A total of 2 498 out of the 3 984 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 62.70%.
