2007 Village Representative Elections: Overall turnout rate

The third polling day of 2007 Village Representative Elections ended at 7 pm today (January 13).
A total of 95 candidates from 27 villages contested for 49 seats, including 36 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 13 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.
A total of 4,210 out of the 7,054 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 59.68 per cent.
