A total of 324 persons were injured in 259 traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (December 31, 2006 to January 6, 2007).

Fifty-eight of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 103 in Kowloon and 98 in the New Territories.
