Police open fire in Tin Shui Wai

Police are investigating a Police open fire case in which a police officer and a man were injured in Tin Shui Wai this (January 4) morning.
Shortly after 5am, Police officers spotted a man acting suspiciously near a river on Shek Po Road. When a police officer tried to intercept him, the man reportedly attacked the police officer who subsequently opened fire.
Both were injured and were rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment. The man was later certified dead at hospital.
Investigations are proceeding.
