Christmas book sales at Hong Kong Film Archive

    The Christmas and New Year book sale of Hong Kong Film Archive (HKFA) publications is being held at the Archive from now until January 7, 2007.

     Selected books published by HKFA are being sold at a 15% discount. Discount books include ¡°Hong Kong Filmography¡±, ¡°Monographs of Hong Kong Film Veterans¡±, ¡°The Shaw Screen: A Preliminary Study¡±, ¡°A Yam Kim-fai Reader¡±, ¡°Chang Cheh: Memoirs¡±, ¡°The Swordsman and His Jiang Hu: Tsui Hark and Hong Kong Film¡±, ¡°The Cinema of Lee Sun Fung¡±, ¡°The Glorious Modernity of Kong Kee¡±, ¡°@LOCATION¡±, ¡°Fame, Flame, Frame ¡ª Jupiter Wong Foto Exhibition¡±, ¡°Frame After Frame¡±, ¡°The Hong Kong ~ Guangdong Film Connection¡± and others.

     Discount books can be purchased during the opening hours of HKFA¡¯s box office from Monday to Sunday (except Thursday) from noon to 8pm, or 15 minutes after the commencement of the last screening. The HKFA will be closed at 5pm on Christmas Eve.

     The ¡°Museums Mega Book Sale¡± is being held from now until January 7, 2007 at individual museums of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
