The following is issued on behalf of the Electoral Affairs Commission:
The order in which the names of the candidates running in the Election Committee Subsector Elections will appear on ballot papers was determined by the drawing of lots today (November 11).
Lots were drawn for 13 of the contested subsectors by their respective Returning Officers this morning. These subsectors are: Financial Services, Hotel, Insurance, Real Estate and Construction, Textile and Garment, Tourism, Transport, Wholesale and Retail, Accountancy, Architectural, Surveying and Planning, Engineering, Information Technology, and Labour.
Results of the draw can be found in the attachment.
The draw for the remaining 10 contested subsectors will be held this afternoon.
