Two hundred and four nominations were received yesterday (November 7), the penultimate day of the nomination period for the Election Committee Subsector Elections. It brought the total of nominations to 1,001.
The Social Welfare Subsector received 52 nominations yesterday, the highest number of nominations among all subsectors in a single day since the nomination period began on November 1. Nominations close today (November 8).

The six designated bodies in the Religious Subsector submitted a total of 63 nominations earlier in the nomination period.
