Chief Secretary for Administration to visit London

    The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Rafael Hui, will depart for London this weekend to officiate at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council annual dinner on October 31.

     During his visit to London, Mr Hui will call on the Chinese Ambassador Mr Zha Peixin at the Chinese Embassy. He will also attend a roundtable meeting with members of the Hong Kong Association in London and brief them on the latest developments in Hong Kong.

     The Hong Kong Association established in 1961 aims to promote links between Hong Kong and the UK, in particular with regard to business and bilateral trade.

     Mr Hui will return to Hong Kong on November 2. During his absence, the Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands, Mr Michael Suen, will be the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
