Enjoy world music concerts at Cultural Centre Piazza

    Musicians from around the world will be at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, jamming Mongolian, Tibetan and Chinese folk music with jazz, percussion and electronica, to create dialogues that transcend all cultural boundaries.

     The outdoor free concerts "World Music Encounter" will be held on October 29 and 30, from 3pm to 5.30pm, at the Cultural Centre Piazza.

     On October 29, musical saw, percussion solo, jazz and Mongolian folk songs will be presented, while on October 30, electronic music, jazz, Tibetan and Chinese folk songs will be featured.

     Performers include DJ Li Chin Sung, musical saw player Li Yuanqing, double bass player Peter Scherr, long song singer Ganbaatar Khongorzul, throat singing artist/ horse head violinist Naranbadrakh Nergui, throat singing artist/cow horn flute player Damdin Gantulga, percussionist Park Je Chun, Singer Yang Xiaolin, electronic music player ZenLu, xiao/dizi artist Tam Po-shek.

     The event "World Music Encounter" is one of the activities of the "New Vision Arts Festival" organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
