Tsim Sha Tsui No.3 alarm fire roundup

    A domestic unit on the fourth floor of a 14-storey residential and commercial composite building at 86-88A Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, about 6 metres x 20 metres, was severely damaged during a No.3 alarm fire this morning (July 1).  

     The fire broke out at 8.13 am and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 8.34 am.  

     Firemen used three jets and mobilised four apparatus teams to fight the blaze.  The fire was put out at 10.37 am.  

     A woman and a fireman feeling unwell were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  

     A total of 23 persons were led to place of safety by the firemen.  

     No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
