Australian training facilities provider, Cliftons, has found Hong Kong a dynamic marketplace and fast moving economy which provides the company with unlimited business and growth opportunities.  The company celebrated its latest expansion in Hong Kong today (June 28) and shared its business development plans.

Cliftons is a unique business, with facilities designed exclusively for the purpose of computer training, seminars and events, video conferencing and serviced office work space.  Today, the company officially opened its newest purpose-built, 11-room Hong Kong flagship facility in Queen's Road, Central.

The General Manager Asia of Cliftons Hong Kong, Ms Vanessa Griffiths-Green, said, ¡°We identified Hong Kong as a regional centre for international business and seized the opportunity to establish Hong Kong as our Asian regional headquarters. The phenomenal growth that Cliftons has seen over the past few years, within Hong Kong and across the Asia Pacific region, can be attributed to our overall business philosophy.¡±

According to Ms Griffiths-Green, the new Cliftons Central Training Facility offers the latest available technology in a premium corporate work and learning space. Like its other purpose-built facilities, the new centre is high-tech in every sense. The educational environment created by Cliftons will enable students and attendees to be comfortable and attentive throughout their session. The new facility consists of 11 training rooms that can accommodate up to 380 people in theatre style, 220 in classroom style and 150 for computer training.

The Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong, Mr Simon Galpin, warmly welcomed Cliftons¡¯ latest investment in Hong Kong.  He said, ¡°Last year, our colleagues at Invest Hong Kong joined Cliftons¡¯ celebration of the expansion of its Hong Kong business.  We are delighted to be invited again this year to recognise the company¡¯s further growth in our city.  Cliftons¡¯ rapid development here points to the tremendous opportunities for innovative and quality business support services as companies in Hong Kong expand and prosper.¡±

¡°We are also pleased to hear about the company's long-term expansion plans in Hong Kong.  We look forward to the continued success of Cliftons locally and regionally,¡± said Mr Galpin.

At the opening reception, Ms Griffiths-Green shared the company¡¯s plans for Hong Kong.  She said, ¡°Due to demand from our client and partner base, we are seeking to expand further in Hong Kong in a number of ways over then next 12 months.  Additional serviced offices are currently under construction at our Quarry Bay location.¡±

¡°We also are planning a second facility in Central to meet the continued demand for computer training facilities, conference and event space and certified professional development training,¡± she added.

Established in 1997, Cliftons offers over 150 training rooms at nine locations in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.  The company operates two training centres in Hong Kong - one in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay and another in Queen¡¯s Road Central.
