"Football" exhibition will run from tomorrow (June 21) until September 18 at the Hong Kong Museum of History. Featuring more than 150 items selected by the National Football Museum in England and the Hong Kong Football Association, the exhibition traces the history of football right back to its origins. It features football's historical landmarks, such as the formation of official football organisations, the development of match rules, the birth of the World Cup and the emergence of those football giants who populate the game's hall of fame. It also reviews the glorious days of Hong Kong football. The picture shows a shirt belonging to Peter Schmeichel of Manchester United. Schmeichel has made 392 appearances for the team and did not concede a goal in 178 of those games.
