Question:
Regarding the employment statistics for 2005 complied by the Census and Statistics Department, will the Government provide the number of employed persons (excluding unpaid family workers, foreign domestic helpers and employed persons who worked less than 35 hours during the seven days before enumeration due to vacation), broken down by the groupings in the attached form (Annex 1)?

On the basis of the results of the General Household Survey conducted by the Census and Statistics Department during 2005, the information required is set out in the attached statistical table (Annex 2).
