Mail deliveries during April and May holidays
*********************************************

There will be one mail delivery during the coming Easter holidays from April 14-17, on April 14 (Good Friday).

The Postmaster General, Mr Allan Chiang, said that all post offices would be closed during the holidays apart from the Airport Post Office, General Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, which would open on April 16 (Easter Sunday) and provide a full range of counter services. The business hours would be from 9am to 2pm.

One mail collection would be made on both April 14 and April 17 for all street post boxes except those on outlying islands and in remote areas. Mail will not be collected from post boxes on April 15 and 16.

Mr Chiang added that all post offices would be closed during Ching Ming Festival on April 5, Labour Day on May 1 and the Buddha's Birthday on May 5. While there would be no mail delivery, one mail collection would be arranged on these three days for all street post boxes except those on outlying islands and in remote areas.
