Following is a transcript of the meet-the-media session by the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works, Dr Sarah Liao, after meeting representatives from KCRC staff unions today (March 24):
Reporter: How was the meeting?
SETW: It went very well. I was particularly appreciative of their efforts in maintaining a reliable and safe railway service all this time. And of course, they are very mature and they are looking forward to how to cooperate if the merger would take place. And of course being a sensible management, human resources is one of the most important assets to the company and of course we would really treasure their input.
