Firefighters will showcase their driving skills in the Fire Truck Challenge to be held from 9am to 5pm at the Games Village at Tamar site of the World Firefighters Games (WFG) 2006 tomorrow (February 23).
Some 150 firemen will also take the challenge of parking fire engines blindfolded.
At the same location, about 26 teams each comprising five firefighters will take part in the "Bucket Brigade" to be held from 9am to 5pm. They are required to fill buckets from a water receptacle, splash on the roof of a structure and fill a tub under the down pipe of the structure. The team which makes a ping-pong ball float on the water-filled tub within the shortest time will be the winner.
