The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, this afternoon (February 18) officiated at the opening ceremony of the ninth World Firefighters Games at Tamar Site in Central. Jointly organised by the Fire Services Department and the Institution of Fire Engineers (Hong Kong Branch), the Games will run from February 18 to 25. Hong Kong is the first Asian city to host the event. Beating a gong, Mr Tsang declares the opening of the Games.   Close
