"A Symphony of Lights" enhanced with pyrotechnic displays in Victoria Harbour from February 3 to 5
************************************************************

The new "A Symphony of Lights", enhanced with pyrotechnic displays in the Victoria Harbour when it was launched last Christmas, was very well received by both visitors and locals.  In response to the request of the tourism and related sectors, "A Symphony of Lights" will again be enhanced with pyrotechnic displays in the Victoria Harbour from February 3 to 5 (Friday to Sunday) to further enrich the festive programme during the Chinese New Year period.

The pyrotechnic displays at 8pm on the three consecutive nights are sponsored by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and can be seen from both the Hong Kong and Kowloon waterfronts.  The Promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai is an ideal vantage point to watch the ¡°waterfall¡± effect pyrotechnics discharged from the Marine Deck of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

To fully experience the magic of light and sound, the Tourism Commission recommends spectators to watch the show with the specially composed music.  Apart from Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, a public address system has also been set up along the Promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai to broadcast the synchronised soundtrack during show time every night.

The soundtrack of the show will be broadcast in different languages: English on February 3 (Friday), Putonghua on February 4 (Saturday) and Cantonese on February 5 (Sunday).

The Tourism Commission also recommends that restaurants and hotels along the harbourfront  provide their customers with live broadcast of the soundtrack via radio by tuning in to FM 103.4 MHz (English), FM 106.8 MHz (Cantonese) or FM 107.9 MHz (Putonghua).  Spectators may also listen to the soundtrack via their mobile phones by dialing 35-665-665 (English) or 35-665-668 (Putonghua).
