The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (January 20) that the main pool of Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus in the pool.
The main pool is the only pool in Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool which is open according to the winter schedule.
The main pool will reopen at 6:30 am tomorrow.
The Department appeals to swimmers that they should be considerate and work together to keep the swimming pools clean and hygienic. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
